So being a college student means no money and no food. You would think it would be smarts and honor of your family name,or something like that. But no not so much in my little apartment. Eating has become the most pleasing thing in the past 9 months, well when there's food. I have learned to put the most craziest things together an make five star meals, well maybe three start but they're Que rico. Basic top roman noodles have become chow mein just with a little unions, red and green bell peppers and soy sauce.Oh yeah don't forget the syrup can't forget the syrup. And take that look off your face it's good. Union rings has become my roommates favorite lunch or sometimes breakfast and they don't hesitate to ask. Flower water and a few unions I'm putting Carl's Jr out of business. Home made fries oh my dear lord also hits that spot when you have been dying of hunger the whole day,and a bag of potatoes cost nothing but change and most of the time thats all I have.
Waking up at 7:30 am every morning to do my best to make it to class by 8:30 am can also change the menu for my day. Most of the time it deals with cold cereal and today my favorite is Apple Jacks yumm. Throw a cup of those in a baggy and your good to go, thats what I call breakfast. Then you get the reward of having crumbs at the bottom of your book bag, well I guess it's a snack for later. Get your finger and clean those crumbs up and then lick. No I'm just kidding with my luck someone would see me doing it and think I was weird. PB&J sandwiches have become my best friends, meet my dear old friend Peanut and his girlfriend Jelly.Oh yeah and sometimes adding bananas makes it healthy,I think. They just sweep me off my feet. (I really need to stop personifying my food). Pancakes and Waffles are around if I'm luck and I treat them like they are royalty, Nothing but butter and syrup dripping off of them. Gosh they rock my world.
Most of the time dinner isn't in my vocabulary but when it does it consist of the cheap stuff. Some mac and cheese, Roman noodles show up again, and my favorite 5 dollar pizzas from Little Ceaser's. Feels you up when you need it. I have caught myself making spaghetti to last the whole week and sometimes it doesn't last more then two days. You think men eat a lot yeah right, try living with Three starving student girls. Bring in my creole roots I sometimes whip up some red beans and rice, helps me remeber what I'm missing back home. I know one thing being out on my own has taught me to be very froogle.

Lucky Me
I know its late in the year to let everyone know but Im going home. Im going home from College. Not dropping out but just going home to find myself again. Everyone told me I would find my self when I was on my own. Discover things that I've never known, be able to express myself in a way that I never have before. But today, On a Saturday After noon I don't know myself anymore. I use to be vibrant and fun, now I wouldn't know myself from a lazy cat name lucy. Yeah people say I was lucky to be able to move away and go off to college and yes I agree with all of them. But sometimes life takes you places and it doesn't exactly mean you belong there just means you will grow and learn and move on. So I'm not disappointed in myself, I know i'll find a place where I belong and right now it's not Here!
